Denique Vintage Designs

You might not know this about me, but I might just have a tiny obsession with jewelry. I’m always purchasing new pieces at craft fairs, small businesses, stores, and online. About a month ago I came across a company called Denique Vintage Designs on Instagram, and I was in love! They create such unique pieces using wire wrapped, hammered metal, and steampunk jewelry using a lot of unique materials. They are most known for their shark and dinosaur teeth pendants, but they also create a lot of dichroic glass, pearl, and gemstone jewelry with crystals and precious stones that are often for chakra jewelry. Most of their work is custom and “the sky is the limit.”

Of course, I had to get my hands on a few pieces and there was so much to choose from. I finally decided on two necklaces and an ear cuff. They just started making rings so I will soon purchase one of those as well!

The packaging was super adorable and hand made. I don’t know about you but I love when companies take the time to package their items nicely. It shows that they care and it feels like a birthday present. I was almost sad to ruin it! Haha

My first piece is this super cool necklace. It is a hematite pendant wrapped in oxidized stainless steel. Hematite has magnetic and healing properties that can help with headaches, ease tension, and can possibly lessen the effects of carpal tunnel. Pretty neat right? I really like how this necklace is fairly small and how uniquely the wire is twirled up. I’m all about small details! It also looks great on high neck tops like this one below.

This next piece is a sterling silver heart necklace with a spherical druzy agate bead.

I love the spirals inside the heart and the bead is stunning! I don’t think this photo does this piece justice! The bead has rainbow colors which you all know I love (because I’m a unicorn, lol). This necklace, like most of their pieces are customizable. You can choose what kind of bead and chain you would like so it can be exactly how you want it!

This next piece is my favorite out of all three!

I’ve always wanted an ear cuff and I can’t tell you how many I have seen or bought other ear cuffs that didn’t blow me away like this one. I love everything about this cuff from the sterling silver to the simplicity, to the fact that I don’t have to get an actual piercing for some ear bling. I wear my hair up most of the time in the summer time so I get to show off this pretty little ear cuff!
